bridal swimwear in Belize.

Located in San Pedro Belize, is a luxury swimwear boutique called Lemon Crush Belize. They specialize in high-end bridal swimwear for women. The company was started by Lara Lennon in 2009, and is well respect in the country of Belize. Her one of a kind pieces have been worn by Miss Belize, Miss El Salvador, Miss Guatamala, Miss Costa Rica, and most recently Miss Cuba. By having these women wear her bathing suits, she is getting her name out there and letting the world know about her line. Since many people from all over the world travel to Belize as a vacation spot, or move there for retierment, many women come there for a timeless experience. Many people travel to Beoize to get married, so by having Lemon Crush, women can enjoy the beach as they walk the isle in a one of a kind swimsuit made just for them. I think Lara had a great idea with her business she started. Not many companies offer what she does, and by locating her company there, she has a successful business.

SPEEDO!

A man in a Speedo is confident, and not afraid of letting it all hang out. This swimsuit company was first introduced in 1914 by hosiery manufacturer Alexander MacRae, who migrated from Scotland to Australia in 1990, as MacRae Hosiery Manufactures, then a knitting mill. Then in 1928 the name Speedo was founded because of the racer back swimwear they produced. When you think of Speedo for a man though you think of a small bottom swimsuit. Many men wear them, some should not, but they are easier to swim in. This is why professional swimmers and Olympic swimmers wear them while in completion, to make them more slick and faster. They are worn by men in some countries because they are the socially the norm. If men were to wear board shorts in the Mediterranean or South America, it is considered a tasteless choice. In my opinion, men can wear them if they chose to, it doesn't hurt anyone.

Jersey Shore

Since last year, the cast of Jersey Shore has become a house hold name. They got this way from going to the gym, tanning, laundry and fist pumping! The new season started this year and their bodies and way of dressing for the beach has definently changed. Here are some photos from a recent photo shoot showing off their beach bodies and their stylish swim-wear.

Why not wear underwear and a bra to the beach?

It's funny how when you see a girl wearing a skimpy bathing suit outside by the pool, it doesn't cross your mind that there's nothing really to it. On the other hand, if that same girl were outside in a bra and underwear that had more fabric to it, then it's wrong and too sexual. This is a good question to ask yourself. Bathing suits are made each year more, and more reveling. Some swimwear is so reveling that they look exactly like lingerie. In my opinion, swimsuits are what's the norm for us to wear while outside at the pool or beach. Undergarments and lingerie are for inside and not for everyone to see. I personally wouldn't want to wear underwear and a bra to the pool because once they are exposed to water, they pretty much become see through. Swimwear is made with a different material, so when it gets wet, you are protected from others seeing whats behind the suit. Woman's swim suit bottoms are becoming so skimpy now though, I feel that wearing underwear would cover you up more. There is a lot of controversy over this matter, and woman feel that if men can walk around without their shirt on, or in their boxers, then women can too. The fact of the matter is, is that this is the way it's been in our society for many years, women wear and do certain things, while men wear and do other certain things, this is just a fact of life. Although, I feel that however you want to dress, and express yourself should be okay. If women want to wear underwear and bras to the beache, then let them. It's not illegal, so do and wear what you want.

Tan Through Swimwear??

So.......have you ever heard of wearing a swimsuit and not getting tan lines? Well, there are fabrics out there today where you can wear them and not have to deal with un-sexy tan lines. There are many companies out there that make and sell these items. The swimwear is cool and comfortable to wear all day long, and you can also get shirts and pants as well. The fabric works as an SPF of 6 and keeps you safe while your out having fun in the sun. The lightweight Microsol fabrics are comfortable and easy to wear. The tan through swimsuits keep you cooler, and allow water to pass through the suit, increasing hydrodynamic performance. This invention is amazing, who knew we would ever be able to wear a full coverage swimsuit and still get an all over, sexy tan?? The suits come in all shapes and sizes, and the different designs and color choices are never ending. The price range fro these swimsuits are not that steep either. A moderate range for the women suits are around $60.00. The men suits are around $50.00 which isn't too bad. There are many websites that you can go to to purchase these swimwear items. Here is a site I found that sells tan through swimwear at reasonable prices.

So get one and get out in the sun without having to worry about tan lines EVER again!!!

Inspirational swimwear!

To give some examples of where my inspiration comes from, here is a picture of a swimsuit from the 1960's. It is strapless and form fitting. The suit is a one piece which is nice for women who don't want to show too much while at the pool. A more modern style suit that you would see now days is this yellow strapless swimsuit. There are many similarties between the 60's suit and this one. Even the accessories are quite the same. A hat was typically always worn by women while they were at the pool or beach to sun bathe. A scarf is worn in the more modern picture to show style and fashion. Accessories are being worn more often now when women wear swimwear. We try and liven up our ansambles as much as we can, even wearing high heel shoes!!! Detailed swimwear is becoming more popular as well. Big ruffles, smocking, big buckles, belts, embroidery, crochet, lacing, floral prints, layers and sashes are in. I believe even swimwear should make a fashion statement, and all women deserve a swimsuit that makes them look FABULOUS!!!!

Welcome!!

My blog is all about swimwear fashion. Just because your going out to the pool or beach doesn't mean you can't look fabulous. Swimwear is such a fun way to express yourself, and having an amazing swimsuit that fits you right and shows off that amazing body is just the ticket to looking great. All the swimwear that I would provide at my store resembels that of the fashions from the 50's amd 60's. Bringing back old favorites and giving them a modernized twist is what Bombshell Boutique is all about.
